2024 Speedo Canadian Masters Championships
A more than outstanding team experience at the Windsor (Ontario) Nationals! We had 5 swimmers (Alanaise, Mark, Taghi, Neil, and Kim) who, with very tough competition (many world and national records were broken) came home with 15 medals and 10 ribbons (4th - 8th place)! And our team came in 17th place out of a total of 76 teams!! Neil left on an earlier flight, hence the separate picture (and they did not have his final gold medal ready). We brought it home for him!
Neil - 3 Gold, 2 Silver
Taghi - 1 Bronze
Kim - 1 Gold, 1 Bronze
Mark - 5 Silver
Alanaise - 2 Silver
Relays - 1 ribbon
Total 15 medals (4 Gold, 9 Silver, 2 Bronze)!

A large team went to the Provincials in Surrey - we had 9 swimmers (Alanaise, Mark, Taghi, Paula, Lisa, Marnie, Kim, Neil and Gary), accompanied by our coach Quinton Richert. And we had several amazing volunteers (some who were also competing swimmers): Lisa Ballam, Angela Farrell, Neil Reeder, Gary Simpson, Marnie Brown, Sylvia Robertson and Drew. Thank you for helping out!
Our medal count was as per below:
Alanaise - 1 Gold medal, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medals
Paula - 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze medals
Neil - 1 Gold and 5 Silver medals
Kim - 2 Gold and 1 Silver medals
Gary - 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze medals
Mark - 4 Gold and 1 Bronze medals
Taghi - 3 Gold medals
Lisa - 3 Gold and 3 Bronze medals
Marnie - 1 Silver and 2 Bronze medals
Total 43 medals - 39 individual medals (12 Gold, 17 Silver and 10 Bronze), and 2 Silver and 2 Bronze in the 4 relays we swam in! And we placed 14th out of 27 teams!

English Bay "Love to Swim" Short course
Jeff, Neil, Kim, Mark and Alanaise swam at the English Bay meet and collected many medals during the day, both in individual and relay events! Jeff and Neil were not able to get in the early group photo, due to the BOM marathon road closures and blockades... but they all made it in time for all the races! And our 5 swimmers placed 12th as a team, out of 22 teams attending! Congratulations, well done!
The medal count was as per below (13 total - 9 Gold medals, 3 Silver medals and 1 Bronze medal):
Jeff - 2 Gold medals, 1 Bronze medal
Neil - 3 Gold medals
Alanaise - 1 Gold medal, 1 Silver medal
Mark - 1 Gold medal, 1 Silver medal
Kim - 1 Gold medal, 1 Silver medal
And we got the Gold medal in the relay - 200 IM!!

Paula and Neil both swam at the 55+ BC Summer Games in Abbotsford. Great job and medal haul!

We had 6 swimmers (Alanaise, Mark, Taghi, Neil, Jeff and Kim), and 1 of our swimmers graciously volunteered to be official at the meet to help out as stroke and turn judge. A special thank you to Lisa! And even though there was huge competition (world and national records were broken) we came home with 10 medals and 10 ribbons (4th - 8th place)! And our team came in 35th place out of a total of 83 teams!!

English Bay Masters 'Love to Swim' Meet
An amazing team experience at the English Bay Swim meet! We had 5 swimmers (Kayt, Andrew, Mark, Alanaise and Kim), and 3 of our swimmers graciously volunteered to be officials at the meet to help out as stroke and turn judges. A special thank you to Neil, Sylvia and John! And the icing on the cake? Everyone got medals, both individually and in our relays!
